Located in the St. Bethlehem on Rossview Rd. near Exit 8 of I-24 you will find Colony Estates. It is an older, settled neighborhood with lots of colonial style homes. The neighborhood started in the mid-1980's and on the back side of the neighborhood is Chesapeake Estates.
The price range of the homes runs under $150,000 to around $250,000. The lot sizes are a little larger than you typically find in city subdivisions as Colony Estates homes were built with septic tanks. Since being taken into the city limits, city sewer has become available.
The children in the neighborhood are zoned for Rossview School which is just down Rossview Road less than a mile. And being close to Governors Square Mall and all the restaurants is another advantage Colony Estates has.
