For estate size lots in the Sango area of Clarksville, Windermere is a good choice. The homes are spread far apart and every lot has lots of shade trees.
Windemere began in the 1980's and home buyers have liked it ever since. It has long since been built out and now many of the homes are undergoing remodeling and renovations. This neighborhod has lots of homes with swimming pools.
The price range in Windermere starts in the mid-$200,000's with some of the largest homes priced at $600,000. If Colonial styled homes are to your liking then you will like the classic and traditional homes in Windermere Subdivision.
There is no HOA in Windermere and because it started in the county when there was no city sewer. These are large homes to accompany the large lots they sit on.
The schools for the area are Carmel Elementary, Rossview Middle and Rossview High. See more about school bus services here. As for the location it is an easy 5 minutes from Exit 11 of Interstate 24 making it so convenient ot Ft. Campbell, Nashville and Downtown Clarksville.
